Whats wrong with these pictures? (big pics)

Extremley low compression across the board. Ran extremely sluggish, smoked heavily every once in a while (oil). Spark plugs drenched in oil. After checking compression, poured a small amount of oil in sparkplugs and re-checked. Comprssion came up +50-60 PSI, but still low. Headgasket is A-OK.

Rings are shot, probably the bores too. Also, I think I see some traces of cylinder to cylinder leakage. #1 and #6 look awful.

That one needs a complete rebuild.

Thanks Just confirming my diagnoses. Any other imput is appreciated. This block is not salvadgeable. The crank has already been repaired, and id like to go with a different one. (Shaeff did an awesome job though +++ to him)

The block was cleaned, and prepped for the MHG. The HG is not the issue, as far as i can tell.

It is a cometic gasket, and i was running close to stock boost (8-10PSI) But im not sure why you guys are focusing on the head gasket, as it doesnt seem to be the problem.

Careful with that head, you really don't want to put it on a flat surface face down like that with the cams still in, or its going to be resting on the extended valves.

Well there's your problem! You're missing the flux capacitor!

As Kckazdude said, the leopard print on the block indicates that it wasnt surfaced after the last composite gasket was removed. While that may not have been the problem or even contributed to the failure of the motor it was in fact a good spot.
