If you'd buy it as is [wrecked], what would be the max you'd pay?

Note: It has a SALVAGE TITLE.

it runs good and everything else?
Known issues:
* The accident damage
* Passenger side is buckled
* Will have a salvage title
* Broken cam gears [cracked bad, but work]
* Needs an alignment
* Pass-side wheels are broken/bent [need 2 new wheels]
* Rear antenna broken
* Rear main seal leaking
* Cam seals have irreparable leak [cam covers or cyl head are AFU]
* Front speakers need replacing
* Needs horns

The rear main seal is shot & needs to be done soon & the cam leaks are a lost cause. Other than that, it runs fairly well.

No shit? That sucks. It's fine in Colorado, just has to be disclosed.

With all that's wrong with it (especially the cracked cam gears and irreparably leaking cam seals.... those are rather worrisome) I wouldn't pay more then $750... maybe $1000.

EDIT: Just looked it up, in Nevada you can't sell a vehicle with a salvage title, but once you repair it and get a rebuilt title it's all good. I don't think that's unreasonable really.

No one asked if it's legal to sell a salvaged title vehicle in Nevada and no one cares.
edit: Except Nevadans.

In all honesty, it looks like in the second pic that it was hit hard enough to buckle the whole passenger side. Looking at the trim and near the gas tank in pic #2 its either the picture or its got some dmg. I would give him 1000 max for it, if the engine needs all that work, and you do have to repair the rear I wouldn't go over a grand.

GL in your decision.

I think you should donate it to DaSoup so he can get rid of his NA motor and join the wonderful world of boosting.

Yes, the body is buckled on the pass side.

Everyone is fixated on the rear, yet damage extends beyond. After inspecting it myself, the body needs a lot of repair to make it line up again with the tail lights, spoiler, hatch, bumper, & door, not to mention damage to the gas tank's mounting & possible damage to the gas tank.

Superficially via pics the car appears easily fixable, but dig a little & it gets clearer why the insurance company totaled the car. They pegged repairs at ~$4900.

Thats what I figured, a hit like that can do mad damage to a car. My bros maxima was hit and the guy was only going like 30 mph and it ruined the frame. When whole panels start buckling up like that, something is out of wack.

I'd pay a lot more, most of the damage is cosmetic, not to mention the interior is near mint (interiors parts aren't cheap)

underhood pics are necessary for me to really judge, but it would make a great parts car...
