I would give him 1000 max for it, if the engine needs all that work, and you do have to repair the rear I wouldn't go over a grand.

Superficially via pics the car appears easily fixable, but dig a little & it gets clearer why the insurance company totaled the car. They pegged repairs at ~$4900.
