Does anyone here know the operating voltage of the stock 1JZ oxygen sensor? I'm hooking in my AEM wideband UEGO and controller and have it on the wrong damn setting, so the car runs so lean it's barely drivable.

Also, what setting SHOULD it be on? Someone told me that the o2 runs a 0.0-1v. Is that right? I'm running the stock o2 now so I don't blow the damn thing up, the AEM is only monitoring.

Answer:

The stock 1JZ oxygen sensor is a Nernst Cell "Narrow-band" Oxygen Sensor. For proper use of the AEM wideband, the rotory switch in the rear of the gauge MUST be set all the way clockwise, or P4. This setting properly emulates the stock oxygen sensor for the ECU's use.
