What to do with window mouldings, replace, restore, or modify

For the windshield ones I believe you can get a universal type of new replacement for cheaper than new from Toyota. For the other ones though you will probably have to replace with new OEM (expensive), find a good used set, or restore them.

Your choice, really... You can have them stripped and painted, and good shop will have access to the new stuff that makes paint stick to chrome, and I've seen that stuff work, it's DAMN impressive. After that, you could easily plastidip if you wanted.

New ones are still available from the dealer last I checked, and this will get the absolute best result, of course, but it's a pricey option.
