Let me preface this by telling yall I'm not interested in doing a auto to manual swap.
I have a GTE auto tranny sitting in the garage that came from the blue parts car. The previous owner said it had no issues and shifted fine. I've never felt that transmission run. My car currently has a GE transmission that I know shifts fine. My question is should I just take the chance and install the GTE tranny with the engine or the GE tranny since I know it's good. They both have the same mileage on them. 184k and 188k. I would like to erase any GE-ness on my car so this is kinda bugging.
On a side note, my power goals are only what an exhaust and IC hardpipes will increase from stock. Lame I know, but not interested in racing, just the whole driving experience.
