what kind off bov do I have????

I dont know what kind it is. Do You?? I am trying to figure out if it is set u[p like the Tials to use a certain psi spring. The issue I am having is it stays open until you step on the gas then closes but starts to reopen if left at that same rpm. I am running the vpc so my car does run but I find it odd for a bov to do that. Here is a pic:

Not definitely, but I swear I've seen the style of valve on race cars. I'm still trying to find what I'm talking about.

If it's staying open, but closes only when you are under boost, then you need a different spring friend . Research your specific BOV (when you find out what particular one you have) and find the right spring that you need (you'll need a spring rated to stay closed between 20-25 in/hg). A tial 11lb spring comes to mind, but you'll need to find out what fits it on your own .

guess I need to find out if the tial bov spring has the same measurements as mine does. If anyone could give me the measurements I would appreciate it. I contacted srmotorsport who use to sale the indigo bov but they dont anymore.

Cnew: Might want to try a larger hose first and see if that helps keep it seated under boost (I'm guessing that's why you want a heavier spring)

It closes under load but the starts to open up. (idle will be open and I will give it gas and it closes but when I leave the gas steady at an rpm the valve starts to open back up again)

Looks like they make a nice piece to be used as a stock replacement. Doesn't say how much psi it can handle, but I bet it's up to par (most likely better) than any of the bosc replacements. And they are 88.50 pounds, so, what? 160.00 usd?
