Its going to cost alot of money, you need the TH-350, a new drive shaft, a new flywheel/flexplate, a new custom tq converter, and the adapter plate. Its about 2 grand worth of stuff depending on how much you find the tranny for.

small hijacking: what estimate 1/4 e.t. should be @ ~450-470rwhp with th350? Will it be faster than 12.5 (high stall, no transbrake)?

PS: I'm waiting for th350 arrival too, that's why I'm interesting.

That isnt going to be something anyone could tell you honestly. It really depends on your setup, and your driving ability. It should be alot more reliable, and consistant. But your suspension will play a big factor in that, and so will your gearing. If you hook off the line with a good launch, then its possible. But no one could tell you a definate answer.

With traction, a mid 12 should be easy at your stock weight and that much power.

Assuming you have at least a 3.91 rear.

I would go as far to say 11's. An auto with the right stall speed at your HP level should be 11.5 to 11.7. I went 11.95 with 50 less hp.

As did I (11.90) on an A340E and a 3000 stall TC.
