I just finished installing my Glow Shift MaxTow series Boost/Vacuum & Water Temperature Gauges. They have a needle & digital readout and best of all its green to go along with the rest of the dash lighting:naughty:.

I don't really have a way of testing the accuracy of the boost/vacuum gauge but i did have a digital water temp gauge installed before this one and when warmed up and driving the numbers seem right around 192 to 197 which was where the old one was(before the LED readout started failing). I did change out the water temp sensor with the new one included with the gauge as well. I was thinking about Auto-Meter gauges but with Glow Shift I have heard they changed their manufactures which has improved from their old poor quality gauges in the past so I thought I'll give em a try.

Installed my new SSv3 short shifter.

It's funny how light that shifter looks in the pic. In reality it only appears slightly lighter than the black boot. I'm going to take some darkening leather conditioner to it next week which should make it a perfect match to the rest of my interior.

Went over some rough as piss railroad tracks and bottomed out. Cracked the high pressure line going from the valve body to the rack.

Wow, that sucks. Those must have been some crazy railroad tracks.

What gauge pod is that? How did it fit? Where do you get it? Been thinking about getting one. This glow shifts look good btw. Definitely changes the impression I've had of them. The old styles always looked kinda ricey to me.

It's probably just the flash

It is a Lo-Tek 2 gauge pod. I got it from http://www.gaugepods.com/toyota.html and have had it for like 6 years. The fit is ok but when installed the lower corner in the pod has a slight wired shape than the OEM one was, other that I like to keep the o-shit handle in place. Overall it is still nice and holds its shape and not warped like some get.

Got my valve cover gaskets, cam seals, and new passenger side window motor a few days ago. No time to get them in so the Supra has been parked.

Also found out one of my friends, family member is selling a 89 NA 5speed for $500. So thinking of buying it, if hes willing to hold onto it for a week or two. Then debating on selling my 88 Turbo and use the money to 1JZ swap the 89 or who knows.

My 88 was originally a NA. One of the two previous owners swapped in a 7MGTE. Plus one of them welded the rear end. Little bit annoying at times, especially slow turns.

Planned on it, but not a whole lot of cash flow lately, until work picks back up. Plus my 88 is Auto, which I don't mind, but a 5 speed would be fun none the less. Maybe ill just keep both lol. We'll see though, gotta find out if he'll hang onto it for a couple weeks first, all else fails, ill use it as a parts car for my 88. Haven't even seen the 89 yet, just know its a 5 speed, na, daily driven. So it is a running and driving car.

More is coming very soon. I got tired of people flaking on me during my search for wheels... So I just got these as temps.

No rubbing so far. Haven't taken any hard corners or on ramps yet. But I'm confident they won't rub. Going to get an alignment and corner balance soon.

I should have gotten 275 or even 285 in the rear, but these were tires I had laying around. Figured I would see what I can run and get better tires after. However, these are temporary wheels and got them just to get a better feeling of what sizes I can run. Permanent wheels are still being worked out. I want to push the stock body to the limit without major fender work or over flares/fenders.
