Bought my car a month ago with a blown head and was finishing up some oil lines underneath the car when i noticed the coils, they werent large bulky and ugly like the stock ones im used to, can anyone tell me what brand they are? Guy before me knew what he was doing with it i just dont know what coils they are, even if they are stock.

Progressive means the springrate changes as the spring is compressed, you can see this visually on the coil typically by seeing that there are greatly varying distances between the coils at different sections.

See if you can find the brand Eibach and their part number on it. Looks like my Eibachs but they got their part number on it.

If you cant get a normal sized jack under it.. Its NOT stock, unless theyre horribly sagging but even then i haven't seen stock springs go low enough to where you cant fit a jack under it. Try and look around the center of the coil; see if you can find a lil white label with "eibach" on it. And yea like canuckrz said, progressive springs get stiffer as they compress more. I wanna say the stockers were linear, but im not ENTIRELY sure.

But im bettin that theyre eibachs, they look enough like em to me.

damnit got beat by akito.
