What Bearings do you guys recommend for use with Eagle Connecting rods. Also what is the highest HP on eagle rods?

Even the ACL Race Tri-metal bearings?
From what i learned about DSM's there suppose to be really good... or have i been led a stray?
And i'd trust your opinion IJ more than any DSM "guru"....

Rennat: According to my Crank Shop ACL don't do their "good" bearings in the 7M sizes (It sucks as ACL as 15 minutes from where I live)

I have built several 7Ms and have had no trouble with ACL. I wind mine up hard and they are still alive and kicking. I'm sure there is better out there, but unless you drive like a moron, they should be fine.

I only have a few hundred miles on them in my bottom end... but they sustained some nifty detonation. :-D
My new motors will probably have them too with crower rods.

I've always used bearings from Mitsubishi with no problems in both my 2g DSMs.

not racing, i have no desire to trash any of my motors. I run them hard, but not to race. if i'm building a 300+ hp car i'll use clevites but stock ACL is fine
