LOL.

Yeah, we decided against the Z3 after hearing the stories about the damn differential RIPPING OUT of the cars. Rear subframe just goes to shit on 'em.

Only thing I ever hear bad about the 1.8L Miata, is that is spins high rpms on the highway - but it does it happily!

She freakin' LOVES it - here, I'll let her reply -

Okay, randomness from Doward's wife here...I LOVE THIS CAR!!! This is my reward for dealing with all of his car parts in the house...especially the engine block instead of a dining room table. He tried to take the car sideways this afternoon...no success. I, however, got it squirrely coming out of our community. :) Great, fun little car...what else needs to be said??

This is the first new(er) car I've ever bought, and I got it for her :) I can't wait to see how it looks after really cleaning her up (and less fuzzy pics, lol!)

From a Dealership... Mazda stealership, no less.

How did I get it down that much? I brought in autotrader ads that I had printed, showing that the same year/mileage Miatas were going for 10.9-12.0.

They had this particular Miata on the lot for 52 days before I picked it up (they had it priced simply too high)

They had 11.8k in the car, so they say... I personally doubt that, but I wasn't paying over 12.5 out the door - and 11.5 was really my 'can't walk away' point, considering this Miata was *PRISTINE* (I do mean that. 10/10. It is perfect in almost every way!)

So I spent 5 hours haggling them down to 11.6k out the door :)
