So i installed a prosport 60mm electric OP gauge and got the adapter/screwed it into the stock port location. It seems as though the gauge is working fine initially when cold, but then as the car warms im not sure if its the gauge or not but my pressure has gotten to 0 psi idle but 50-60+ psi at 3k rpm. I havent yet checked it with a mechanical gauge, but this isnt really my issue.

My issue is that aftera hot shut down, when i turn my key back to "on" when the gaugewould normally do its startup sequence of pinning the needle and comming back to 0, the needle pins to 100psi and doesnt come back down, just stays there. Once i start the car the needle comes back to zero and then reads pressure normally again. I thought it might be an issue that the sender is too close to the exhaust manifold, its right against the manifold heat insulator sheild and about an inch from the actual manifold. I tried taking the rubber boot for the stock sending unit and sleeving it over my current aftermarket prosport sender so try to deflect some heat
Now it seems that half the time the gauge will work fine and 0 out, and sometimes it will pin at 100psi, sometimes it will float around 20 psi, and the majority of the other half of the time it will wiggle around 20 psi rangeing in 10 or 20 psi up and down as if there was a bad ground, and then eventually shoot up and pin at 100psi until i start the car again

I am very confident my connections are good as ive looked over them multiple times and tested them with an ohm meter more than once. Please help me fix this isuue!

i havent contacted them, i figured its easier for them to chime in here as ive seen a lot of others post prosport questions on the board and the vendor usally chimes in
