Air in the heater core/connected lines. Not something to worry about. Any other symptoms that could lead to BHG?

i would try to burp your system as that is a sign of air being in it....maybe take a quick look around to see why it may be there. i wouldn't jump to a BHG. just because he has air in his lines doesn't mean he has one. don't scare him.

Ok let me rephrase my question.
Do you have any other symptoms, these may point to a BHG, but like I said before its not something to worry about.

Sometimes if a hose springs a leak the system will lose its air tight erm...ness. and it can come up as the problem you are having.

Either way, its probably not a big deal.

I wouldn't go through the fuss of burping it. Just heat cycle it a couple more times with the heater on 85 (doesn't even have to have the fan running to keep it open).

what do you mean cycle just have the heater on @ 85 deg ? im getting horrible gas mileage and everytime im letting off the gas it boggles and jerks alot could this be my plugs have brand new ngk irdium plugs in or fuel filter. the exhaust that comes out is very hot and so rich that it almost makes me tear. and my engine bay gets so HOT that i cant even touch anything on the bay with my bear fingers. i have no fan shroud so i hear my clutch fan noise everytime after i warm up the car

You've got a lot to fix here man. Check you coolant hoses, all of them, one could be leaking, allowing air to drawn into the system, or you could have an issue like JJ said. Get a damn fan shroud on there, along with an engine undertray, you probably don't have that one either. I'd personally not waste money on iridium plugs, I'd put NGK coppers in there gapped to spec ;).

You're going to swap out brand new iridiums for coppers? For no reason at all besides someone on the intarwebs told you? Iridiums are most definitly not a waste of money, expecially compared to coppers!

Big difference between telling someone what to do versus what you would actually do...

Oh please, do you really think thats the way he took what you said? Seeing as how he has immediately decided to ditch his brand new, good choice of spark plug?

In addition to that, if someone like you who has thousands of posts (appearing to be knowledgeable to a newer member) is saying how they would personally do something... there is very little difference.
