Rule out condensation first. Pull the spark plugs to see if you've got coolant in your cylinders (to rule that out as your cold start miss), clean that stuff off as best as you can under the cap, valve covers, inside the PCV, etc, and then take the car for a good drive and get everything nice and warm for a good 30 - 45 minutes. This time of year is cold, and if the car isn't warmed up completely to burn off the condensation on a regular basis, it will build up and get gunk all over inside the high points (coolest) of the engine. If you were leaking coolant in to your oil anywhere it would be unlikely to NOT evidence of it in the oil pan.
