Wastegate rod comes off occasionally?

I have a stock ct26 with an mbc set to ~12psi. Every once in a while, my wastegate rod/arm will come off of the wastegate hinge. It's really annoying, because i have to wait for the car to cool off and then remove the accordian hose, unbolt the wastegate, re-attach it to the hinge, and then re-bolt it back on almost every other day. There is no play on the wastegate's moving parts when installed, and nothing looks bent. I tried shimming the wastegate to add more tension, and it went 2-3 days without doing it before popping off again.

does anyone else have this problem, or have any ideas on how to fix it?

i was unaware that there was a circlip, i don't suppose this is something that i can get from toyota is it? I may have to rig something up.
