I bought a 2JZGE (engine only) from a 2004 IS300. I got it for a steal. I am not looking to put it back into a Lexus. I am wanting to build the engine and put it in something else. All that to say this: "Can I eliminate the VVT cam/gear? Since the application won't have a factory computer it would be harder to program in the VVT than eliminating it entirely. Correct or not? If so how do I do this?
