Sup guys. Well I search with no luck. I'm hitting the track soon and fabing up a nice intake pipe for my stocker. I was wondering if I can vent the ISC to the atmosphere without catastrophic damage. I want to eliminate the hose from the intake to the isc if possible ( less fabing).

LMk thanks.

it would be ok to put a small filter on it if you have speed density, but if you’re running a MAF your going to have problems because it's function is to let metered air into the intake manifold, letting unmetered air in will cause a lean condition resulting in erratic idle

Right on. Introducing rogue air will cause all sorts of issues. (think large vacuum leak;))
