Unbolted Pressure Plate Incorrectly, What to Check for Problems?

Just realized I may have added a few hundred $ onto my rebuild

After pulling the motor and trans, I one by one unbolted the pressure plate to flywheel bolts. I didnt loosen them partially, rather took one out completely and moved on to the next one. Then I moved on to undoing the bell-housing to block bolts.
In the tsrm it says to undo the bolts a turn at a time to relieve spring tension. What do i need to check to avoid a problem down the road? What damage could i have caused?

Nice, I guess i could see that. It was separating itself to a point once I undid the bell housing bolts..

Worst case it'll bind on the flywheel dowels and mangle a couple. You should replace 'em anyway, they are cheap and readily available from the dealer.
