Getting ready to order bearings. I ordered ACLs but the mains are on back order.
My friend wants me to get Toga. Haven't found much on them.

I will be making around 1200 and my friend will be making around 700.

Go to napa and get Tai-Ho's they're oem or Sealed Power bearings over Togas.

NDC's are about the best you'll get for a 7M, ACL don't do their "good" bearings for the 7M.

How do they compare to clevets. I find that they are the most popular choice for the 7m

Clevite don't make M bearings they buy from other manufacturers and rebox them so it's a bit of a lucky dip what you end up with, I've seen NDC's FedMogul and ACL's in Clevite boxes.

Steven, I have a set of Taiho rod bearings (OEM brand) and NDC main bearings in STD size you can have for very cheap. Brand new never used of course, I pulled one pair of shells out of each to check what my clearance would be and was on the larger end of spec, so I went with OEM select fit bearings. LMK if you want them.

This didn't catch anyone's attention? Steven, what kind of budget are you working with? 1200hp is quite an achievement in a 7M...

As much as it takes. It's been done before so not worried. 1200 is what i want minimum at the wheels threw a powerglide so should be around 1550 crank.
