With that many miles, over boring is likely needed unless the car was maintained very well.

SC's right - It doesn't matter if you have 10k miles or 200k miles - you must measure your bore diameter to determine if you need to bore or not. Although, if you really need a bore after only 10k miles, you might track down why that is

heh, oh well I'll just have to go with what my mechanic says. So possibly supra will be down for another year as parts from US travel to Lithuania for nearly a month :/

What you need to do is follow the procedure below in sections 4,5 and 6.
If you can get your hands on a micrometer/cylinder gauge this doesn't take long at all.
