yeah i know, the kit cost like ten bucks but the labior cost like 270

The labor should not be that expensive. We did it at my friend's shop, and the other day we thought we had an exhaust leak (my tial wastegate was actually stuck open temporarily). I was in shock of the torque the new studs took when tightening them. You should visit my friends shop on of these days, its behind the tamiami airport by 137ave, PM me for directions

Get bigaarons kit, do them all at once, only takes a few hours max on an NA. Never have a problem with those again.

As for the auto trans issues, cant help ya there, Im pretty much an auto tranny noob.

where u live by turbogate? in miami

I now live by the homestead area, used to live in Killian (hammocks). My friends shop is KAW Kanzki autoworks, I dont have the number with me, you can look it up on the realpages online, but I'll get it for you later or tomorrow if you cant find it. He has worked on my car quite a few times, and other supras as well. MkIII and MKIVs. He is a Lexus Master mechanic(used to work for Lexus of Kendall) now has his own shop, so he his pretty familiar with Toyota and Lexus engines. Best of all, His partner, Juanito is responsible for most of the turboed IS300 among other cars, you see in the Miami streets, he does amazing work, and his welding is second to none. He used to work at Toyomoto, building the turbo kits for Lance. He did my original turbo kit, and I am sure he helicoils studs/heads everyday. We'll keep in touch, and we can meet there one day.
