I would've put this in the AutoX section, but it seems it's no longer here. I live right by Texas Motor Speedway, and in the bigger parking lots, they have AutoX competitions every couple of weeks, seems to be some kind of car club, alot of cars were stock, but alot were modded. This gained my interest, and I'm considering getting into autoX, to improve my driving experience and to possibly continue doing this in the far future (it also looks like lots of fun). The problem is, my car is my daily driver, so I really don't wanna go hardcore as far as suspension and brakes are concerned, and I'm N/A at the moment, so I'd like to just have an intake and exhaust for the time being. What mods would you guys recommend for mods suspension and brakes wise that would perform well, as well as being streetable?

Tip: Go fast and turn :)
LOL, I'm pretty sure there's more to it than that. You have to have a very good suspension, brake, and tire setup so you'll grip the road when you take the turns. Also, I'm asking because I know quite a few of the members here do it occassionally, and I just wanted to know what they put on their car.

Solid swaybars make a huge difference. Strut bars help too. If you really start getting into it...coilovers.

well i like to auto x bena aweil for me since i don't have a car that run and my daily sucsk bad caus eit's really to slow for me to waste money

but am going to make it a rally car mk2 supra

but as for auto x tires\shock's\spring's\sway bars

power is the last thign you need or just find a class you want to be in and build your car around that class

my car is in wild mod class witch makes me have ot compete agist porse 911's ect

so build you car to the class you want to be in

it verys form every car club pretty much

Tire pressure:
Is a really big thing, get some white shoe polish and put it on all your tires, make it like 4-5 inches long and all the way up the sidewall, what will happen is you will go around corners and it will rub off the shoe polish. You will know that your tire pressure is right when its rubbed off right at the bottom of the tread on the sidewall.
