Tim's 1jz Big Single swap

Well to start my name is Tim obviously. Ive got an 87 Turbo, Targa, 5-Speed that I swapped a 1jz into in November 06. Right off the bat I installed the Chinaman Y-Pipe/DP combo and loved it. Since then my car has run flawlessly until a few weeks ago when my twins started to smoke really bad. And guess what! Its single time.

The car as it sat right after the swap.

This beauty came in a few days ago. Its a custom Garrett turbo, .70AR cold and .95AR Hot. P-trim

Tonight I tackled the fun of removing the stock twins
Look ma, no twins!

There was blood. (After I took this picture I busted 2 more knuckles removing the exhaust manifolds)

And they are out!! I have conquered the evil twins!

i see you did the 89+ front end conversion, did you do the tails as well?

Sorry Supraracer, the 1-pipe/dp combo is already sold.

I love the way the 89+ front end looks but honestly like the pre 89 rear end better. I kept the 87 tails and wing.

For fuel I have a walbro, Mallory AFPR, MKIV 550's, MKIV Map, and a SAFC2. The next step in tuning will be a AEM EMS once I get my tax return.
