Well, this car is at BIC getting fixed up... and a few extras taken care of at the same time. The old car is back on the road for a week. Damn, it's tough getting used to a stock(ish) clutch again!

I didn't take any pics of the damage, and I'm never going to... I'd rather forget this ever happened, and after Randy is finished with it, I'm sure it won't be possible to tell.

Quick update for tonight - too damn late and dark out to take pics of the rest of the changes, but this one I can take indoors:

Also, made some more changes...

Stock three piece wing painted to match the car and installed:

Stock hood replaced the carbon fiber one - also painted to match the car and installed: (Brand new hood struts, too!)

And a couple more bits that I haven't had a chance to take photos of yet...

Update! Washed both cars today. It's amazing how dirty just in DUST they get in a few days here.

Also took some pics of the new electric fan setup from Adrenaline.

And a pic of the new Meth flow sensor that I got Bill to install recently. Pardon all the damn dust in the hatch area! This little beastie gives the Vipec an error code if the meth flow level goes weird, which allows the Vipec to drop to a safer map and save the engine from the usual fiery death.

You only ran a 14.0? I know it is a JZ, but try nitrous or something.

lol, nitrous aint gonna fix a 2.3 60ft.....you're looking at the wrong end of the problem, he still trapped almost 110, which is good for the factory 13 second quarter mile a mk4 puts out. Just driver error here.

i agree. nitrous would only worsen his apparent launching errors. power is not the answer to that guy's problem. although i must say, it's nice to see a MkIII beat a MkIV.

I'm not going to be too hard on the guy... remember, we're talking virtually a stock car vs a car running a standalone ECU, launch control, slicks, and double the ponies.
