Ok guys, finally another update but Im afraid is almost all bad news. Im getting the first completed 2nd gen bar tomorrow (for sure this time). I spoke with my guy today and it sounds like he is seriously considering backing out of the deal. :icon_mad: ..............:cry:
Basically his story is that he now has his son in football, he's buying a home, and he has no time to complete what we talked about. On top of that he said he way underestimated the amount of time each one would take him. (Ive seen him work...and while he knows his stuff...hes not very organized) So, if he is going to make us any at all the price is gonna go up significantly. Enough so that I'm afraid most of you guys are gonna back out of wanting one. Sorry, but thats the truth as I know it. It looks like we are now looking at around $200 a bar before shipping. :aigo:
Sooo...Im gonna proceed like this. Im gonna get the bar tomorrow. Im gonna take pictures of it and post them in a new thread, but not start a group buy. I will call it a gauging interest thread. I am supposed to hear from him tomorrow afternoon and he is going to let me know if he is gonna make some bars or not. I asked him for a comittment of 10 bars...they may be the only ones ever built, but at least if he says yes, I have a committment from him on them.
