swap worth it?????

i went to the track last thursday just a little 1/8 mile and every time i would take off, it would go about ten feet off line and then pop out of first gear....:cry: so my trannys messed up right??? my car was stock a non-turbo and i had put in a turbo engine in it and kept the w58 transmission. so my question is should i put the turbo transmission in?? is it worth the money? is the gearing different? any one had this problem before?

Slow.......maybe a little. Too much power for the N'A tranny at the track......maybe a lot.

Swap out the w58 for the r154 and you won't worry about overpowering the tranny, as much as you will finding a clutch to hold the power(whatever your goal is).
