dont you have to mount them with tape tho?

probably 3m automotive tape. dont underestimate it, its pretty good.

I think the ones HPF is selling comes with brackets. You mount the bracket to your rear hatch with some killer tape (tabs slide under the trim for extra support). Then the visor bolts to the brackets.

I have one of the replicas on my 89T.

I'm sorry I wouldn't trust hundred dollar parts to double sided tape. I got some with my side window louvers, my regulus visor, and my regulus covers, but no chance and hell I'm using only that hehe ( Well for the covers I will ).

actually it is stronger than you think. With the tabs that go under the trim it is really very secure.

I'm sure KevinM will pop in here sometime soon - I think he has some of these left (if he can find them after his recent move).
