I have put cams, upgraded turbo and metal headgasket with apr studs in my 88 supra. It doesnt idle very good if even at all. I was wondering what the timing is supposed to be set at. right now i have the cps aligned correctly with the two top cam wheels notches facing strait up like they should and the main pulley wheel on the bottom at 0. Is that correct or no?

That is correct.
Once you get it started then you should set it to 10 degrees with a timming light.

Also make sure your cylinder one is on TDC
Is your cam standard?

Are you following TSRM as your guide.

TDC is top dead center, where in your case the number one cylinder need to be on a compression stroke.

Usually high duration CAM's make your car's idle unstable, but Im pretty sure If you do your research on this forums, you will find a way to make it run properly.

What other mods do you have? Usually cams are only of any benefit at high HP but that doesn't mean you will see no gains on your setup but for dollar value vs power it is a least attractive MOD.

IF you don't set your timming to 10 Degrees advance you will get poor perfomance on both feul and power.

For you to get maximum out of those 264 CAM's you will need to get them tuned properly.

If you don't get it by Saturday, I'll show you how to do it when we do the heater core.
