Steering Problems, Popping and Grinding?

So first off, lately the car has been making popping noises when I cut the steering wheel all the way to the right or left, I was told this is because of the "wheel stops" or something like that lol. Now when I cut it allt he way it makes a weird grinding noise...any help?

Mine did the same thing when I first bought it...there was a bad grinding sound when the wheel was turned all the way to the left. When I took the car to a shop for a general inspection I mentioned this to them, and they fixed it easily by "greasing up" the "wheel stops" - as they put it. I'm sure this is the same thing you're experiencing - I don't know exactly where these wheel stops are but I would imagine they're pretty easy to find...then lubricate them (WD-40 I would guess...) and you should be good.
