Speed Sensor Gear Q.

I had a bad trans oil leak and found the O-ring on the speed sensor gear was lbad. Q is, got the oring replaced, How far do i stick the Gear sensor back into the trans as i forgot how far.

Here is a pic of how it sits in right now. COrrect? Or deeper into the trans about .25in where you cant see the wall of the speed sensor gear..?

There's a notch in the side of the sensor that the little tab fits into to hold it in place.

If you pull the fitting out a bit you'll see a notch cut into the side of it.

The Tab I'm talking about is a piece of flat metal say 10mm wide x 15mm long with an 8mm hole in one end.

it wont go in any furthur than this.

Here's a pic of the how far the "notch" part is in. Correct?
(just playin it safe cuz i wouldnt want the gear not in the right place)

Once you slip the 33485 tab in place it sets the depth
