hey last night i turned on my car around 2 A.m, And my check engine turned
on. Well i went to check the motor and i saw sparks but i couldnt see where exactly it was coming from?????

its kinda strange, from 1-3900 rpm it kinda struggles but after that it pulls even stronger then before????
i hear a clicking noise

only thing by the cam cover is the 1st spark plug.. check that.. check the cap and rotor too..

check the harness going to the temp sensors and shit. also check the plug wires for breaks. maybe its grounding out on the engine or something.

Ticking? Check your spark plug wires.

My NA had a bad wire, changed it, car was perfect again.

I doubt it. but still, sounds like what was happening to my NA when the wires went to shit.

Possibly, I threw everything 7m related away tho.

Check your engine codes first. That will let you know why the CEL is on. Then, start to trouble shoot.

a test the could and probably will put you on your ass, is grab each wire when the cars running till you get the tazer hit and fall on your ass. then you know what the problem is.

or maybe take a multimeter and check the resistance and for breaks in the wires.

It was funny, since my car was stuttering and driving like shit, i said, i had ought to chek timing. I clipped it to plug wire one. and the thing wasnt working. I put it on the second one, and it worked. I never thought about it again.

Then one day I decided to check the resistance in my wires. the first one was shot. I used a spart plug wire from an old 351 and voila. Ran beautifully.

Then it all hit me when checking my timing lol

Man, I miss the days of NA simplicity.
