head gaskets dont seal well in the cold?? lol to me that would sound suspicous...

although i did read a few engines (non supra AFAIK) would blow a head gasket if started up in the cold and stomped on the accelerator pedal for a long period of time..

400hp tow truck? lol

i call bs on it not sealing in the cold. once its been torqued is sealed. my supra starts fine in the cold, but i let it semi warm up and defrost before i move it, and even then i dont drive it hard, as ZR tires suck in the cold.

LMFAO, my boys on the phone with the guy... he's fucking with him so bad LMAO!!!

The guy said the car doesn't start probably because the CPS is bad, then my boy asked why he's selling it because he likes DSM's more and my boy was like "Those are gay"... the guy chuckles n goes ok... LOL silence for a few seconds hahahah... hopefully he chimes in, but he started talking about a seat and the headgasket and that it should recline on the HG or but the HG on the seat so its sitting down properly

I call b.s make him start it! You wont hurt anything if you run just for a moment. I'm willing to bet you could find someone with a AAA to tow it to a warm garage for few moments so you can start it.
Put it this way no matter where you tow it or who buys it, your still gonna want to start it. You mean to tell that who ever buys is gonna wait untill spring, to start a car that they bought over a half a year ago? Come on give me a break. When its torqued it's seated! It probaly has a rod knock.

Holy shit Mike, if *you're* not CIA, I suspect you know some good friends who are. :biglaugh:

On topic, I smell a scam. Personally, I wouldn't buy a "400hp" 7m (or really any 7m car, no offense guys, I've been burned before) for 4k. Not unless I KNEW who built it, and they had a great track record with surviving Supras. :)
