i was pouring new oil into my car tonight and when i opened the plastic thing the little aluminum sticky thing that seals it was there.. so i just pushed it open and started pouring and a few little pieces of the aluminum seal came loose and poured right in with the oil into my valve cover. i was wondering if this would be a big deal or not.,. i dont know what to do.

nothing you can really do. The strainer and oil filter will catch it so it wont enter you engine. But as far as getting it out.. Pull the oilpan and hope its down there and fish it out.

No it won't just burn off. If you're up for an adventure... take the intake cam cover off and search around.

i did that.. looked everywhere.. it was nowhere to be seen. i just started it and drove anyways.. i mean theres not much i can really do. my oil fliter should catch it anyways i would think.. this is a shitty position to be in.. what a dumbass move i did.
