yeah i know, and i am a turbo car. its just more then likely a NA head has received less underhood heat over the years so less chance of cracking. am in in the right here? or off?

At this point, you've probably got a 50/50 chance of getting something that has been overheated at least once. As stated, these cars are getting old. Very old.
The only reason I would look for N/A is you'll likely get it cheaper.
