I saw on the site a few months back about possibly using Dry Ice to remove some dents. I tried using the search function using various key words and I still havent found that thread.

I wanted to know if this worked? And if there would be any other more practical ways. I just had my car painted, (from silver to black) and I am finding all of these tiny dings, so patching them up is not an option.

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks

Works well depending on how big the dent is. I just popped one out of the gas tank on my bike. Heat the area first using a hair dryer then apply cold. Dry ice is a hassle. Use a can of electronics freeze spray or air duster held upside down:

You an also use refrigerant but you'll be busting about a dozen federal laws.

ok, well i wont tell. :)

I will be trying this out soon. I don't have anything huge, just a few little "dings" on the door and quarter panel. They were so small, I couldnt even tell when I was checking the body for damage.

I have seen paintless dent removal guys use pointed hook shaped tools to remove dings from behind the panel... I am guessing the freezing method probably won't work on small dings...but if it does that would be awesome...let us know how it turns out.
