I think SM is a better place honestly then SF... The quailty of posts is just better...

SF still good and i love tolling over there.. but over here i think we have more of the hardcore mk3 guys....

SF has a better/active 1jz section IMO, but the general forums is just way way way more active. I remember a time on SF when the thread's would have 2 -3 new pages in one day!

Good ol mk3 days. So many people have moved on... so many still the same...

I started on SF and my buddy jesse told me about SM so I came here and never looked back. You can really only hear "MY MK4 IS GOD, MK3S SUCK" so many times before you feel like stabbing someone. I think the off topic and parts reviews are great, good turbo tune section, cool vids, and nice kill section too.

I use SF for information and reference (especially the JZ section). But I only post on SM and enjoy it more. I visit SM at least 5 or 6 times a day. SF only 1 or 2 times a week.

So what are you saying Eric, you're going to quit moderating SF? :biglaugh:

just because there maybe better info here doesn't mean I'll stop helping the community.. Hence why i'm a moderator there. No one threw it on me no one gave it to me I simply asked they agreed and i've been a fair mod I'd like to think ever since on there.

Well said. Help the community where you can, whatever the location.

I started on SF because of my love for MK4's.. I noticed it wasnt really a "noob" friendly place at all, you would get flamed if u ran any thing LESS than titan, SP, etc... I got tired FAST of the big pocket guys and came to SM because of my brother, and honestly.. SM to me is more family oriented. People help others a lot more (aka.. going to their house and helping fix their cars..) the car meets have been top notch in both forums.

SM has more mk3 information. When I mention that I own a supra on SM, people dont even have to ask what model, they are foward on what they did to fix it, or relate you to a different post.. on SF every one assumes you have an mk4 if you mention supra in a gen. discussion. And if you say something thats been mentioned before you get 20 guys saying "repost" or "search"..
