Its not a Major Problem but I cant stand to have this car do it everytime I start it up.

You start the car either in the Mornings or during the day and once it finally fires up you get a Sputter effect (ie... like its missing) for about 3 to 4 seconds, then it clears up. this is everytime I start the car. I thought that It might be my C.O.P.s so I pulled them and Installed my Stock Coils back on. Same results. Only thing that Ive notice is that it takes me longer to get it started during the day as it does in the mornings. About 3 Turns before it will start during the day, Instantly first thing in the Mornings.

Plugs are NGKs Iridiums of that makes a Difference. Seems as though its more effected the colder it is ie Sputter is a little longer in the mornings when the afternoons or evenings.

Any Suggestions or Ideas to help clear this up.

Mine was doing the same dam thing...sputter on start up. I did the ecu code check thing and got a AFM code, timing code, and something else. Reset my ecu by pulling the efi fuse for 30 secs, and codes cleared up. Mine still sputters to life when cold, but when warmed-up..starts instantly. I do need plugs though because I have a misfire.... It varies big time too..sometimes every 3-5 seconds and sometimes it will be smooth for 15-20 minutes.

Sounds maybe like a cold start injector or the injector time switch, almost like its working somewhat fine in the mornings and continues to work when it doesnt need to? During the day when it takes longer is that after or while the engine still somewhat warm?

Do you have a wideband?

I ran into something similar except mine only did it when the car was hot. Example...I drive to the store, go in and get BBQ Sauce, Q-Tips, and Road Flares....come out and start the car and it would sputter for 3-5 seconds then clear up.

Sometime later, I did a complete fuel system upgrade, and it now only does about every 2 out of 20 hot starts.

When upgrading the fuel system, I found that all of my injector o'rings, grommets, and insulators were dried and cracked. That's my best guess as being the cause.

I do have a Wideband Installed.

Im not getting any codes, CSI sound like a good start as I just started the car up and it sputtered and wouldnt stop. First time Its done this before. My A/F went straight to 10.0 when sputtering but my MAFT Pro is reading as its has Normal A/F ratios.

Strange, So Im going to switch out the CSI and Timing Switch.

It takes longer to get it started after Ive parked the car for a while and the engine has cooled down, There has been a Instance that the car wouldnt start at all, Turns over just fine but nothing for 15 minutes, All of a Sudden turn the Key and fires right up.

On the warmer days when it takes longer after sitting, could be "hot soaking" or whatever other term you wanna use. When you crank it when it wont start does it smell of fuel at all? I am sure you didnt have a spark tester on it when that happened. If the csi is not working properly it could be loading the engine up with fuel. After letting it set there my be just enough to keep the plugs from firing. My csi got stuck open, would run rich after it got to op temp it would kinda clear up, but not completely, let car idle for a bit shut off sit for ten min or so and it would take forever to start because of the extra fuel.

Have you checked your plugs by chance to see if there is any excessive carbon or fuel wetness?

No fuel wetness but they do seem to have a little Excess Carbon buildup on them. Heat soak is also another option. I dont have the Ignitor in the Stock Location but Down the Tire well a little. Trying to keep to as Hidden as Possible. Im going to relocate that and see if it does it also.

How was the csi? if you moved the igniter make sure it does have a good ground, this could cause intermittent issues but they, i dont think would be different hot or cold, unless that igniter acts like an old v-8 engine block mounted coil, that would tend to overheat and cause randoms missfires sometimes.

Dam it to Hell....

Im getting a little frustrated here. Went out this morning with every intention on driving the car, Got in it, Turned the Key, Fired right up as usual but the Dam Wideband A/F gauge after about 10 seconds went to 10.0 and black smoke is coming from my Exhaust.

Im running MAFT Pro so Im wondering if it might be my MAP Sensor has gone bad. CSI is fine and the CSI Timing switch is fine also.
