We’re working one a few changes to this year’s SILV08 event. One of the biggest changes is the addition of the SILV High Roller Series. This program is designed for the MkIVs but we want to create one for the high HP MkIIIs as well.
The plan is that the participants in this series will compete in the regular classes for the Dyno, Show, and Drags but will also be competing for an overall title.
At the Dyno Challenge these elite MkIIIs will kick off the afternoon Invitational session as they battle it out for top HP and torque numbers. At the Show-and-Shine they will be parked together and judged by a special panel to determine best Interior, Exterior, and Engine. For the Drags we will be looking for Lowest ET, Best RT, and Highest MPH. Points from these scores will all be combined to crown an overall winner. A special trophy will be presented to the winner of this new series.
The rules are still to be decided but we are hoping that this will add an exciting new element to this year’s event.
We are also looking for a minimum of four (4) participants to make this series a reality. We are looking for those MkIIIs that can hang with guys like Tony and Duane.
