i put this in off topic cus it doesnt pertain to the supre but it is still technical

i found some puss on the dipstick of my audi and decided to go w/ hg. spent 3 days cleaning and taking my time doing hte headgasket bymyself and finished sunday. what i found was instant milkshake, i thought residue from coolant in my lines ok whatever. how many flushes before i should start worrying about the hg.

Depends on what kind of options the car comes with - things like oil coolers will trap that residue for longer.

You could try getting a flush at an oil change place - they run some kind of detergent through the system and it pulls everything out, then put in good oil, if it comes back at that point, you've got problems for sure.

hmm.... I kinda got into some "deep" water in my dirtbike and ended up getting water in just about everything, I had to "rinse" the engine out about 4 times to get it anywhere near good. Then I filled it up, started it up and had to do it twice more, so I imagine having a lot more places for the oil to stick around, it would just take some time... But I don't think I would jump straight to a HG again.

ok last post was really broad cus i was at work and had to do stuff

anyway, im on 3rd oil change in like 10 miles, when i pulled the head a crapload of coolant poured into pistons i'll post a pic later, and when i started up the first time the oil filter gasket (my fault) exploded and dumped serioulsy almost 3 quarts in like 2 seconds from the gasket as i was laying like a foot away. and it came back like syrup. that was my first flush, i guess. i should know all of this by now considering its my 3rd hg job but what else should i do while im waiting to see if it broke in right.
my to do list is

3 more oil changes
compression check.
coolant flush
and carbon monoxide tester for radiator.

hoping i did a good job considering i only had a straight edge done to the head. it was flat so i didnt lap it cus its been done before. and the deck just got treated w/ a gasket scraper. composite hg so im not to worried, i've never worked with stretch bolts but i did what i was supposed to. i geuss time will tell. all i know is it didnt start when i tryed to go to lunch......

cant wait to sell it and drive the supra again. for those who say the supra isnt dependable, compared to other cars, like this, the supra is EXTREMELY dependable.
