I should rename this thread to how many turbos can I blow up lol...

So these Holset turbos like at least 10psi oil pressure at idle. So I put a gauge in line of my turbo feed line. Cold start is good pressure.

When warm, not so much. I'm seeing 3psi when up to temp, I'm guessing its starving the turbo of oil and scaring up the bearings causing them to leak.

So new rebuild kit on the way, I'm going to give it a shot by myself.

To get rid of this issue, I currently have the subframe nuts loose so I can drop that, pull the pan, and shim the oil pump to hey more idle pressure!

AEM tru boost installed and ready to go, wasn't as hard to install as I thought it would be

Oil pan should be coming off tonight or tomorrow, been waiting to borrow my friends engine bar to hold up the motor while I pull the subframe

once you finish this build i will deffinatelly write out most important things from your engine build and experience since i want to go just the way u did and 415hp wheel @ 16,5psi sounds good for me to go this way :)

nice work and i like how turbo can be seen since usually they hide under that IC piping

Thanks to Cajunkenny for the oil pan! much better than my old beat up one.

old oil pan is out, new ones all cleaned up and ready to go in. not sure if i should use just fipg, or cork casket, or both.
i also pulled the oil squirters out and pressure tested them. 5 of them opened at 35+psi, one opened at around 4 so i ordered a new bolt online.

hoping to have this all together my early next week since this weekend we might get snow -.-
