Mine is almost that bad, but it still makes 15+ psi and is not making any noise. Just burns oil

I drove mine like that, and my boost went down the J tube, ended up pressurizing the crankcase and a good amount of oil got blown out the pcv holes. the oil then dripped onto the manifold and caught fire melting my o2 sensor wire and may have shorted out my ecu ...just a friendly warning.
i swapped out the turbo for one from another supra i have sittin out back. i will replace eventually but its gonna be with a GT40.
with the other turbo boost comes on much smoother but its creeping from 9.5 up to like 14psi when i hit fuelcut. its shimmed so im gonna take those out once it stops raining.

wowsers! i pulled a turbo off an sti at work the other day and the shaft had actually snapped in half
