I would actually measure both lift and duration of any Schneider regrinds. Numerous Z31 guys are having issues with their Schneider regrinds being significantly off in both lift and actual duration. It was bad enough in my case that I ended up going to new billet grinds.

I mic'ed some lobes on mine and they where accurate but think I might check the rest now, thanks for the heads up.

Check the actual duration (not advertised duration) of that cams as this seemed to be where most buyers were reporting a problem. I'm not sure if it was just cams ground during a certain time frame or what, because I have used Schneider before and loved them.

Now I dont discriminate and I check ALL CAMS (both new and reground). I check all lobes before I ever degree or set-up valvetrains.

i agree this is always a good idea, ive seen a brand new cam be off. i know with the bigger companies if you call them and tell them whats going on they will replace it.
