I have search both the forums and the intraweb 
for fixing rust, all I have read about were surface rust. Well, *sigh* I have rust to the point well my finger can go right through the quarter panel :1zhelp: i have a guy who says he can take care of my rust locally but I want to figure out what is needed, is it possible to fix the rust to the point where unless it undergoes the same stress as lets say a new car it would not rust again. I would say, hey just replace the part but the really bad sections are 3 of my quarter panels. I have seen some recommendations of putting a layer of metal over top the rusted area (after you clean off all the rust, even if it goes through, and fitting this to the car, but I want something that will fill the gap. Any suggestions would be worth while, and I hope I am not screwed :-/
