honestly I wouldn't...in my not so professional opinion the quarter panel is toast...you'd need a new one and have as shop hang it. Then you would need everything else that he mentioned and even then you aren't guaranteed that the frame truly is straight.

if it were $4000 less, yeah I'd probably go for it, but for that price I bet you could find a good TT one for the same amount when all the repairs are said and done.

I wouldnt touch that with a 10 foot pole!

He says no frame damage, but if the radiator support is pushed over the car is gonna have to go on a rack. That rear is NOT pullable, its gonna require a cutout/refit. Then your gonna need a good paint job. Airbag was deployed so it wasnt just like he slid off the road and didnt hit anything solid. My question is where are you gonna find parts for it, and you can bet when you do they wont be cheap. Im no expert, but my guess would be 8-10k to fix it.

thats some pretty bad damage. my guess, maybe 3-4 thousand? maybe.

umm...its gonna cost that just to hang a fender/hood and paint it. That doesnt even come close to fixing the rear.

Also...does it look to you in that pic that it slid off into a ditch? suppose that ditch was full of water?

Thanks guys. I was thinking it'd be too much. If he was asking like $6-8k it'd probably be worth it. Oh well, it's sad to see a wrecked Supra. :(

If your looking for something to fix up and keep as a sunday driver and maybe take you time fixing and such, this maybe a decent purchase.

If you looking for something to buy, fix and sel lto make a grand or two----

this is not for ya! I wouldn't touch it at least!

Based upon the photos (which are insufficient for this) there could be (and likely is) hidden damage.

I'd base the estimate on a scenario like:

Labor:
R&R left rear fender
Repair passenger door
R&R Hood, Fender, Passenger Apron
Windshield
8 hours misc mechanical
8 hours of frame time

Parts:
Front bumper cover
Hood
Right front fender
Right apron
Right rear fender
Fan
Radiator
Lower radiator support
Upper radiator support

Paint:
Repaint entire car.

Go to a shop, get a rough estimate for that, add 20% to that, then add what you'll pay for the wreck and you should be CLOSE to what you'll be paying for this MKIV.

That's provided the wheels aren't bent, tires aren't flat spotted (which they probably are) etc, etc, etc...

And I'll bet you can find one for less out there that hasn't been wrecked.

I would like to hear Adjuster's take on this since he's in the biz...
