Mechanically or Electronically?

You can simply unplug the VSV controlling it to cease its operation, but mechanically would be more intense, to remove the valve would surly require the manifold to be removed.

By the way, you know this was coming. Why are you interested in removing it, temporarily?

Gotta Pay To Play
Sorry forgot about this thread...The NA supra is down for the winter and I wanted to clean up and port and y pipe and manifold and then have both powder coated with a heat resistant coating..Like ceramic powder coating..I took the intake manifold aprt as much as possible but the "plunger" to the butterflies doesn't seem to come out, I dont see how Toyota Built these unless they were assembled and then welded as two pieces...I'll post pics tomorrow,You'll see.

I need to take the plunger thing out in the middle,..or maybe protect it somehow I don't think it would last after I have it powdercoated .
