Is it possible / worth the effort to recalibrate the stock boost gauge to show a higher boost reading? I did a search for "recalibrate guage" and nothing was found. I am thinking it would be relatively simple to create a new face that could show the higher number if the gauge could be adjusted.

Imo it wouldnt be worth your time since it only goes to -4 also. Be much easier to find either a better looking aftermarket or a stock looking aftermarket gauge.

TRD, a long time ago, sold one to 16 psi. I have never seen it in person, or for sale on ebay and other types. I only read about it.

More trouble than its worth imo... but its pretty doable

Find out the range the stock meter works at with a meter.Or you could hook up a voltage generator in place of the stock pressure sensor and find it out that way.

Once you know what it takes to make the boost gauge do a full sweep you can pick a sensor for what ever you want the range to be.
