Rebuilding power steering rack?

I have an 87 that the rack is leaking. Do they make a rebuild kit for it at all? It looks to be some sort of seal inside the rack itself that is leaking. I would need to take it apart to see for sure, but Id also need to replace the boots as well.

If anyone has a part number for the rebuild kit, and what is included with it, or any other information I may need that would be great.

they do make rebuild kits. however there are parts that can wear out and be useless, iirc if the rack housing is scored/worn in anyway its worthless. You also need man SST's to rebuild the rack.

Do you happen to have a link or place that I can get my hands on said rebuild kit? Id like to see what it includes so I can take my rack apart and figure out exactly what would need to get replaced.

I can probably make any of the tools needed to take the rack apart, I guess I should pull it and see how it all comes apart and figure out what needs replacing.

A reman here is $290, and there is no way I'm spending $500 on a new rack. I would convert it over to manual rack before that happens, which I am still actually considering.
