Rear hub ebrake cable

hey, im trying to take off my rear hub and currently while taking off the ebrake cable, it goes through the dust cover. does anyone know how to take it out? mines all rusted near it and it dosent seem like there's a way to take it out.

has anyone every took this ebrake cable out of the dust shield?

yea I had to do mine when doing bushings all around. It was a PITA!!! There is probably a proper tool for it but I actually used a closed end of a wrench and an extra hand with some PB Blaster. After wiggling and pulling it came right out but you really do need an extra hand. Someone else might have better luck with a proper way. GL!
