Rant: Forza

Okay, so lately I've been playing Forza, trying to finish the game and everything. Right now I'm at level 40 driving a GT prepped Porsche GT3 RS in one of those championship races for the GT class.

Anyhow, I noticed that whenever another race car bumps into me while speeding along at 150+ mph, it fucking sends me off track and into some concrete wall. I think okay, just restart the goddamn race. Restart, I try and bump the mofo and what do you know. Nothing happens. He doesn't go flying off into a wall like I did.

I'm like wtf?! I get a little tap in the side and I go flying across the green, but when I tap the mofo, nothing happens! If this were NFSU, I'd understand this shit happening, but Forza is supposed to be a "simulator." This shit is not supposed to happen.

And wtf is up with the AI? Its like they don't fucking know how to drive. Going into a turn, the mofo is slamming into me pushing my ass off the track and I'm like, get off my ass goddamnit! And those endurance races. Come on! All I have to do is pit with half the laps to checkered and I've won.

Forza 2 had better be better than this.

If htey are hitting you in the corners, you are braking too early.
Monkey with your line on corners they mess with you on, they don't mix it up that much, you can stay out of their way...

as for you not being able to bump them...
well, that's simply a lack of determination and velocity on your part.

Meh. I find Forza to be more playable. In Forza, you get opponents that drive the same class car in the majority of the races, regardless of skill. In GT4, you can drive a supercar against an econobox. Where's the fun in that?

And I don't. I start out racing with an mk3, either 7m or 1jz, and a couple of series down the road, I'm racing against econoboxes. After I dump all the winnings from the past races into upgrading the supra, they pit me against econoboxes, and I don't have mula to buy an econobox to race with.

Yeah forza is a OK game... but GT4 and the GT series just beat's ass when it comes to the racing Sim..... The only thing i really liked bout Forza was the replay... and it should all the stats of your car... i thought that was cool.

But as many people said..... forza sucks

I think Forza is more fun to play, but not as much fun as driving the Supra. As long as you have a Supra to drive who cares which is more realistic?

Yeah, I went back to pick up gt4 and I was like meh, wheres forza.
